Gordon Grant concentrates his practice in general admiralty trial and appellate matters involving hull and machinery, collisions, groundings, structural failures, fires, explosions and marine insurance coverage issues.  He has extensive experience in handling marine pollution claims, personal injury and wrongful death claims, products liability cases, and insurance coverage and extra contractual liability.  He has appeared before the National Transportation Safety Board and the United States Coast Guard.

For 10 years, Gordon taught Admiralty law in the School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of New Orleans.  He was a contributing author to Benedict on Admiralty, Volume 8, Seventh Edition and Recreational Boating, published by Matthew Bender. Gordon is a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers and the Association of Average Adjusters of the United States.
