Clarke Perkins joined Gordon Arata in September 2023 as an Associate upon earning her Juris Doctorate at Tulane University School of Law. While in law school, she served as the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, a Veteran Competitor and Tulane Law’s first Black woman Chief Justice of its Moot Court Program, a student attorney for the Environmental Law Clinic, and a peer mentor. Clarke was a recipient of the annual Tulane 34 Award, which recognizes 34 students across the University’s schools who demonstrate exemplary leadership, service, and academic excellence. She worked at Gordon Arata as a summer intern, as well as Therium Capital Management in New York City.

Prior to law school, Clarke worked with Teach for America as a Special Education Instructor at John F. Kennedy P.A.C.T High School in Cleveland, OH. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Communications. At LSU, she was a recipient of the 2018 Huel D. Perkins Leadership Award, Member of the Phi Sigma Theta National Honors Society, Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
