Philip Brooks is primarily engaged in general maritime law and insurance coverage litigation and arbitration. He principally represents U.S. and foreign insurers and companies in the areas of cargo loss, pollution, hull and machinery, collisions, groundings, personal injury and insurance coverage issues.

Mr. Brooks has litigated and overseen maritime and transportation casualties and disputes in multiple courts throughout the United States. He regularly acts as lead counsel in the investigation and recovery efforts involving major maritime casualties and warehouse fire losses. He also has broad experience in product liability, transportation and commercial litigation in state and federal courts.
