Krystin Frazier-Santiago Joins Gordon Arata

New Orleans, LA –  Gordon Arata is pleased to announce that Krystin Frazier-Santiago has joined the firm as a member attorney in its New Orleans office. Frazier-Santiago brings over thirteen years of experience where she focuses on environmental, energy, and commercial litigation, as well as real estate law and business transactions. Frazier-Santiago joins Gordon Arata’s team of over 40 attorneys located in New Orleans, Lafayette, and Houston.

“When evaluating opportunities and considering my career growth, I needed a firm where there wouldn’t be any ceilings. Gordon Arata is that place,” says Frazier-Santiago. “They saw my worth and what I could offer the firm. And vice versa.”

Licensed in Louisiana and Texas, Frazier-Santiago began her career in law as an associate attorney at King & Jurgens, LLC where she defended oil producing clients in oilfield legacy litigation, toxic tort litigation, and complex regulatory compliance issues. She built upon this experience during her tenure at Kelly Hart Pitre while also expanding her work in commercial and real estate transactions. In 2020, she launched her own firm, Frazier-Santiago Law, where she acted as general counsel for small business owners throughout Louisiana and Texas. Additionally, she is a licensed title insurance agent for Fidelity National Title.

“Krystin’s diverse expertise in both litigation and transactions is one of the many reasons that we were drawn to her as a prospective member of the firm,” says Martin Landrieu, member of the Management and Growth Committees at Gordon Arata. “She complements key practice areas and our team of attorneys in Louisiana and Texas.”

Frazier-Santiago’s considerable experience in environmental and energy litigation was of particular importance to the firm. Gordon Arata has one of the most sophisticated and successful environmental and toxic tort practices in the Southeast advising clients on a variety of regulatory issues and litigation arising out of federal and state environmental laws, including regulations by the EPA, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. For decades, the firm’s attorneys have worked with energy clients in Louisiana, Texas, and the Outer Continental Shelf on high stakes disputes and routine operational issues, resulting in regional and national recognition.

Frazier-Santiago is a graduate of Southern University Law Center where she graduated cum laude and was Co-Editor-in-Chief of Law Review. She attended Grambling State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Public Relations. She graduated summa cum laude and was valedictorian of her class.
