R. Ethan Zubic, Alex B. Rothenberg and Meghan K. Flanery Become Members of the Firm

Gordon, Arata, Montgomery, Barnett, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan, LLC is pleased to announce that R. Ethan Zubic, Alex B. Rothenberg and Meghan K. Flanery have become members of the Firm.

Ethan ZubicZubic_Ethan works in the firm’s New Orleans office and serves as Assistant Chair of the Admiralty & Maritime Section of the Firm and focuses his practice on commercial litigation in a wide range of practice areas, from cooperative purchasing enterprises to property damage to legacy litigation, as well as admiralty and maritime law, insurance coverage and defense, real estate litigation and commercial transactions.  He has handled cases involving property insurance, ocean marine insurance coverage disputes, subrogation claims, marine pollution insurance defense, commercial transactions and general litigation in Louisiana state and federal courts. Ethan was named a Rising Star in Transportation/Maritime by Louisiana Super Lawyers.


Alex RothenbergAlex Rothenberg works in the firm’s New Orleans office and focuses his practice on oil, gas and energy litigation and commercial litigation. He also has experience in the areas of admiralty, insurance defense and family law. Before graduating magna cum laude from Tulane Law School, Alex served as a Student Attorney for the Tulane Civil Litigation Clinic where he initiated a Sixth Amendment appeal challenging state law in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He clerked for the Honorable Nannette Jolivette Brown of the Eastern District of Louisiana before joining the firm.

 


Meghan FlaneryMeghan Flanery works in the firm’s Houston office and focuses her practice on all aspects of the energy and construction industries, including litigation, title, transactional and corporate matters. Meghan has become a known force at the Harris County civil courthouse. In addition to her extensive hearing experience, Meghan has won more than $20 million in trial verdicts. She has also represented clients in arbitrations and mediations, written successful briefs and obtained many favorable settlements. A Houston native, Meghan began her litigation practice focusing on professional negligence, labor and employment law, ERISA and general commercial liability. Meghan was is listed as a Rising Star for Energy and Natural Resources by Texas Super Lawyers, as well as one of the Top Women Lawyers in Texas 2019.
